In 1958 PLANTERS with its expertise in natural rubber baling developed a press for the infant synthetic rubber industry. In 1969 all sales and engineering functions were transferred to the Bolton manufacturing base and new metal baling solutions were developed to complement the existing product base. In 2018 PLANTERS CLAYTON LTD relocated its main design office to a modern, purpose-built Office Park, offering up-to-date technology, surroundings and closer links to the transport network. Planters Clayton is a market-leading manufacturer of bespoke synthetic rubber baling presses and other compacting equipment. With installations worldwide, we’ve established a reputation for designing, producing and commissioning high quality baling equipment and process machinery for clients in a range of industrial sectors. Reducing landfill and general waste is a not only a moral obligation but a lawful responsibility. To this day, our equipment is built specifically to order allowing each machine to be configured to optimum working efficiency for any material. Owing to their quality, several of our early units are still in production alongside the new units of today’s generation – continuing to meet the need for high productivity and material regeneration.
